Well it certainly has been a very busy 2006 so far! On a personal note I would like to start by announcing that we are expecting our first baby 7th August 2006, and are extremely excited, despite the few months of constant morning sickness!

Work wise I have landed my two biggest commissions so far, for some rather well know clients. They are fabulous projects, and I wish I could let you know what they are but everything has to be kept under wraps until the release of the products.. watch this space!

The "Shag bag" fabric I designed has also been made into an assortment of bags available at department stores around the UK.

Finally, I also have been interviewed by Japanese magazine, Idea-design. The interview should be out later this year.

COMPUTER ARTS MAGAZINE

I am featured in the latest issue of Computer Arts Projects magazine, Issue 78 December 2005. I was chosen as one of the best entries of the "Win a commission" competition. The article read as follows;

"In Cap75 we invited recent design graduates to submit their best illustration work, with the prospect of a guaranteed commission to the magazine for the winner... while many graduates had strong single images, a handful stood out for their ability to produce high quality work on a consistently basis.. don't be surprised if you see these names in future issues as well!"

 

MY AGENT DEBUT!

I am thrilled to announce I have recently been taken on the best agent in England's books- Debut art. This agent represents the creme de la creme of the illustration world, including Vault 49 & Flatliner V2. Please forward all commissions to my agent.

COLLABORATIONS

I have recently completed my first two collaborations. One called "The extinct female" that has been produced with Illustoplosion and it is too be featured in Stero magazine.

Secondly an image called "Black magic", with my ultimate hero, Raphaël, aka "My dead pony". However I must say, it was Raph who worked most of the magic in the end!

I apologise for the lack of updates- I have been busy both with personal work, commissions and trying to makeover my old site.
